Goodbye Christianity!!! and take you label with you!!!

I don't have to put myself into the shoes of a non-radical Muslim trapped by the label of Islam in a religion tarnished by radicals and extremist, I'm there.  As conservative Americans we expect non-radical Muslims to divorce themselves from the radicals elements whom they share the title of Islamic with.  But how can we expect them to create these distinctions if we unable to do the same with the radical elements in the "Christian" movement.

As someone who was raised Missouri Sinod Lutheran, and has vivid memories of my grandfathers sermons it makes me sick to see what has become the new label of "Christianity".  My church doesn't believe in a we are "right", they are "wrong" senarios when it comes to the doctrines or the interpretations of other religions.  We don't typically attempt at converting other "Christians" to Lutheran and we have no problem welcoming them in fellowship as they exist.

I never knew what any other side of "Christianity" looked like, until I met the Mormons missionaries.  My first experiance with a radical religion was in watching these kids try converting one of my friends named Richard when I was 15y/o.  At first they just wanted to play basketball, to break the ice.  Then they wanted to pray with him and that is when they began the exposure process.  They visited with him on a regular basis using a basketball game only as an excuse if they could see he was getting cold feet to their religous pressures.  Their agenda however was blantantly obvious and their persistance often paid off.  I didn't find out until one day when I went to visit him and they came to his door to fit him for his baptismal gown.  After we sat silent hiding in his kitchen while they knocked on his door for five minutes Richard explained to me how they had baited him into getting baptised on Sunday.  They told him that a Denver Broncos football player that attended their ward (that's what they call it) named Rulon Jones would conduct the baptism.  Richard told me how he had been intitially so excited to meet Mr. Jones but had second thoughts about taking this step for those reasons. His hopes were that he would be able continue the friendship without converting to thier religon.  Unforntunatly he found out otherwise when he told them he had changed his mind and that he didn't want to become a Mormon, they never returned.  To my knowledge Richard sees this as the face of "Christianity" has has not attended any church to this day.

The Assembly of god (AOgg) religion and it's members have this same effect on the label of "Christian".  Another freind of mine has had both experiances with the Mormon religion and AOgg as a child.  The subject of religon is not something he is willing discuss with anyone, but me.  He says he believes in God but that his view of "Christianity" was tainted mainly by the actions of the AOgg.  He has often asked me what has happened to "normal" churches and I can tell he wants to find a place he could feel comfortable in.  Unfortunalty his experiances revolve around the divorcing of his parents at age 8 and how the church reacted.  He recalled how the preacher told him that he would grow up to be a homeless drug addict and his sister would become a prostitute if his parents divorced.  How the church "prayed" the demons out of his house and told the children "evil" spirits were trying to steal their souls.  In a recent conversation he told me how he had googled his former pastor Dick Waterer who is still in business and is a preacher in Tacoma, Washington.

As more and more Americans leave their traditional churches and join these sects they become more and more the majority voice of "Christianity".  I believe as such we all owe Rosie Odonnell a sincere appology with respect to condeming her comments in reference to "radical Christians" being just as dangerous as "radical Muslims".  She might not be right, but she does have a very legitimite point and if you need an example please Youtube the phrase "Jesus Camp" and you will see why.  Here is a couple links to what I see as a blasphemous perversion of the true message of Jesus Christ.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqNLMuijRyU&feature=related

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxdt_f0hwUg&feature=related

I now much better understand the comments about religion made by Neal Boortz, and I wish to take the next responsible steps in the process.  I will always believe in the Bible as the true and inspired word of God and I will continue to attend my Lutheran church on a regular basis.  However I no longer will allow anyone to indentify me as a "Christian" because I see that label as being hyjacked by the radical extremists in these videos.  What takes places in these "churches" chases more people away from any relationship with God and brainwashes others into a place where anything under the sun can be done in the name of Jesus.

2 John 1:9-11 (New International Version)

9Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. 10If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. 11Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work.

Hebrews 6:4-6 (New International Version)

4It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, 5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, 6if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because[a]to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

James 4:11-12 (New International Version)

11Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. 12There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?

Relavent Rant

"FREE" healthcare?  I'm sorry it's hard to hold back the contempt for the idea that one day my kid is going to be a slave in this country to this debt creation machine. Isn't post dating a blank check in our children's names to R&R the best system in the world just that?

Chrysler, did you know our kids will get to pay the unsustainable, over blown cost of  wages, pension debt, and retirement contracts when they pay back the bailout? A union strike could considered a split personallity disorders.   None of this is about CAFE standards (34mpg by 2020) or lax labor policies either.

Because of  the premise we were/are in the worst economy since the great depression RIGHT-NOW?  I must have missed that to, because all the economic numbers were worse right after 9/11 or Katrina.

But none of the numbers are what's relavent here, only the lemming stride with eyes wide.  Our president  appoligized to the world for America's arrogance, not just in Iraq but from our founding.  He said we are not a Christian nation,  churches look like walmarts with rich preacher/CEO.  Miss California, she should have never got a look but not because she excercised free speech in a Miss America contest.

Distortion/Reality/Under/Government/Siezure DRUGS!!!

Is anyone else out there feeling as if nothing "more" really need to be done?  Like maybe we need to retrace our steps before we get really lost maybe?

I am going to link this Yahoo/AP article as the one I am referencing because many of us have this stuff on our email home page everyday. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090308/ap_on_bi_ge/the_worst_recession

It's version is about the "soup lines" of the 81/82 recession which it blames soley on President Reagan.  The writer isn't clear about how he says we got out of recession only that it's cause was inflation and Reagan was "dishing out hope" just like he says Obama is doing now.   Democrats say that media like this "mainstream" AP story are not bias, but if you read the story he never mentions the name President Jimmy Carter eventhough he was one term president for many reasons.  One of which was the inflation he references to President Reagan, he never mentions Watergate, or Nixon or IRAN it is a total spin on reality.

Ronald Reagan did not walk into office as the piece would have you beleive and try to shut down the economy, he instead took the restraints of useless regulation and raised the incentive for commerce.  What I find most outrageous is that he gives this assumption that Obama is doing the right thing in cleaning up after President Reagan.  Because I  find this entire piece to be completely false and inaccurate for this simple reason and there is no secret as to why our economy is not growing but one thing that isn't is the mood of the whitehouse.  President Obama's is like a virus to the system of our free market with the direct intent of centralizing power.  He calls anything he disagrees with the "failed ideas of the past" while pushing for government take overs in ever sector of our economy.

The Democrat Party has learned alot since the days of Carter and even more from the failures of Clinton.  When Carter left office our economy was in meltdown.  Anyone who can't see those factual trends isn't worth paying any attention to because they are lying the fact is congress was Democrat controled to.  The above article would be more accuarate to say the Democrats had in 81/82 been in control of both houses of congress for 30 straight years or so.  It also pretenses Obama's notion of "inheritence" when it comes to present day financial circumstance eventhough Obama has been running down our economy for years.  As I recall Democrats have been in control of both houses of congress since 06' when they ran on how "bad" our economy was back then.  Remember that Obama applied for the job with us now he wants to take away his terms eventhough he was as aware of the fact then as he is now because his policies aren't working.

The GOP needs to quit trying to play nice with this band of liars and thieves.  Democrats have brought about this entire malaze by running down investor confidence they have had years to watch Castro do it.  The Democrats run education system, their evironmentally ill agenda, and support for illegal immigration which has created a host of false standards in every corner of America.  When quality craftsman sees an economy that he/she will have be live on the edge of poverty to exist in he/she quits providing those services.  The unintended consequences of policy written not as deliberate action but as emotional reaction have come to a head.

Some call it wealth envy but I think the point is far more infantile this is third grade PR 101. The idea that if we just taxed rich people out of business and use that money to buy their business as a function of government is communism they are selling us out for an ego trip.  President Obama is driving the big truck like a rebelious toddler, there is nothing rash only emotion he is mad mommy left him at the daycare. We know it won't work, we can't pretend not to see the thousands of examples over the history of the world where it hasn't, we just won't sit here and agree to disagree either.  If this were global warming someine could get an Oscar and a Nobel POS prize for creating the model the movie and have novelty toilet paper to prove it.

Obama wants this to fail because as he has stated "Bush" did it, he is just cleaning it up.  Reagan really did cleaned up after Carter  and Bush his actions haven't caused this either.  This is the actions of what Democrats are putting the finishing touches on some of which started in the Carter administration some of which started in the garden when the snake talked Eve into eating the fruit Democrats now use to flavor their Koolaid.

When the Stimulous Bubble Bursts

Most conservative minded people are not overtly impressed by the recent GOP conservative revival.

So who really cares if Rush is right or if Micheal Steele is hip what concerns most is the future of our nations government.  It appears that knowledge of a road ending at the edge of a cliff doesn't always elicit the same reaction in all Americans.  A conservative response would be to stop, or access the road ahead, or look at the map but we have a problem we no longer control the rudder or brake.  A politically motivated panic attack is a foot and it's master at the helm arrogently ignoring facts, laws, and economic gravity.  His intrinsic speak is a cult like madness,  his breathe a brand of hypnotic ignorance, a mind structured on failure.  The course he calls "change" is the source of his power of which he seeks to increase.

What GOP lawmakers must learn the most from is how Democrats took control of our government in the first place.  It started by running liberal candidates in blue states as Republicans which led to frivalous spending in the name of "bipartisanship".  Democrats do employ a similar practice, but with better tactical strategys to keep their members party loyal and popular back home.  Partnered with a gang of character assasination consultants in media Democrat lawmakers avoid scandel by using simple key words like "move on", or ignoring the story or by making light of relevent points until issue the eventually goes away.

The liberal conventions and focus groups everyone brushed off as irrelavent are in fact germane,  proven to be a well organized and a powerful movement.  By injecting just enough religion into their platform through words like "tax cuts", "reform" and "faith"  they created a dogmatic fantasy absent of Almighty God  a "PC" more socially acceptable doctrine of peace.  This play on what words mean is the real  driving force down the dead end road of stimulous.

Conservatism is NOT a reflection of CPAC

Conservatism is the reflection of our Constitution and how best to measure our systems role of government against it properly without distorting it out of context.  The days of the "better then you GOP" have got to go, the days of the Republican being elected as superior to the message of Conservatism must end now.

Conservatism is not at all about allowing big businesses free reign to employ illegal aliens then trying to say the top 2% pay all the taxes.  The top 2% own all the big businesses, even the ones that have been breaking immigration laws and turning middle class taxpayers into welfare check recipients.

I do not care CPAC mended the fence with Mike Huckabee, and forgiveness isn't out of the question either, but contricion is part of that deal for me.  At last years CPAC convention they were on the Romney or Bust Campaign of 08' they didn't even let Mike speak like they did the others before they voted on who to back.  CPAC members used a Clinton/CBS like strategy to make false political claims about the records of both Huckabee and Romney.  But they also lied about something else, and that is what hurt the most.  They spread the rumour that we secretly wanted John McCain as our candidate and created this false conspiricy Huckabee's campaign was about getting Romney out of the picture.

We who voted for Huckabee in 08' aren't all Baptist who can't leave the house without a Bible in hand.  We didn't vote for him because Romney is a Mormon either.  I have a similarly biased opinion of both religions but we are not voting on a pastor and vision of diety isn't the issue for all but the few who voted for either candidate.  In the case of an Obama or Romney contest most would have felt the same way I did pulling the handle for McCain in the end the lessor of two evil contest is finally over.

The corruption of the lie consumed the AM talkers among them Rush Limbaugh, and as usual he is chief architect of what has become a parot like echo chamber that has become known as simply "talk-radio".  There used to be such a variety on the airwaves I used to listen to half a dozen shows a day or so.  I don't think I would ever hear the same topic delineated the same way twice unless it was the only topic of the day.  Now listening to Hannity is like listening to Hannity quip Rush with callers.  I love Rush and I trully mean that sincerely but he really struck a nerve with me on this because he refused to acknowledge the facts.

Romney never governed as a Conservative his record is pro-choice, pro-gay marriage, pro-big government run healthcare and  his state economy was at the bottom of the list when while the country was in a boom market.  Huckabee was elected as govenor of one of the poorest states after Clinton ran it into the ground and he brought it back like Rush did to AM radio.  The talkers only distorted and cherry picked from Huckabee's record after they couldn't continue to ignore his surge in the polls.  All the while they reflected daily with Romney on how he came to see the conservative light of Reagan.  It was like a "Weekend at Bernies" or an episode of "The Ghost Whisperer" how they intended to postumously annoint Romney as a true "conservative".

CPAC must be able to commit to real Conservatism if it ever hopes to be a real viable part of the GOP.  The bottom line is that the true Conservative candidates got almost no recognition what so ever.  My first choice was my former Congressman Tom Tancredo, he was completely over looked for saying what most of us think as "PC" as possible.  Put simply he wanted a no tollerance approach on illegal entry into our country, an enhanced dialog with the Islamic extremist to create peace through ultimatum and a real business freindly environment to support growth.  But we also had many other suitable choices like Duncan Hunter, Fred Thompson...even Ron Paul would have been better than McCain but I digress.

We have now expericanced a host of better Conservative voices for our so called like minded agendas and we expect persons of that standard and caliber be backed by all organizations calling themselves conservative.  The mainstream American media is ignoring the re-awakening of the conservative movement one that will back any ticket containing the names Palin,Jindal, Pence, or Stanford 110%.

American Idol Generation Slipping a Little

The GOP could learn alot by watching because there is truth to this process that almost mimics the political landscape we are faced with at this moment in time.  What leaders in our party are missing is the likeability factor and the popular confidence to back it up.  I overblown talent contest as an educational experiance for those watching at home sometimes moreso than it is for the contestants on stage.

What strikes me funny is and I have said this before is watching these judges is almost a comedy like watching C-SPAN if you value honest assement.  Simon could be the love child of Margret Thatcher and Andrew Dice Clay with Paula, Randy, and the other babe doing their best Care Bears impression it really makes for endless entertainment.

When I watch the show Simon seems to be the only judge who consistantly gives an honest account of what he sees and hears.  To his credit Randy Jackson tries very hard but he like Paula and the other babe have to much emotion influencing thier ability to critique the talent acurately on most occasions.  It kind of reminds me of a political battle sometimes when they give feedback to a person.  Simon may be the only one with the guts to say it but when he does he gets brow beaten by the other judges for his honesty.  On the other hand just because of the emotional component the others often lie or sugar coat reality or maybe they just get caught up in the moment too much.

At any rate if you watched the first two group of twelve contestants each group is competing for three spots at the next level in the competition.  To the shows credit there is more talent this year in higher numbers in my opinion than all the other years combined.  But seriously when Simon says someone blew it, that person ususally goes home the next because they did.  What I find amazing is how often he is ripped by the other judges for being harsh when it turns out when given the choice Americans by in large see it the same way.

Most persons who make it past the initial audition have vocal talent the goal of the show is not to find the best vocal but rather a sound and a swagger to match that excites the industries target audience.  This is about who can take it to the next level and in the future sell records.

If Republicans would model their criticisms on Simon Cowell we would live in a much different country.  Simon is like Rush, neither cares about the boos or hen pecking or the "yo dawg" crash pillow.  Simon is the single most popular person on the show because of it.  Like Limbaugh you either love Simon or you hate him.  But if Simon would have caved in like the other judges have thought he should for the last however many years time after time the show would have failed.  Like Simon, Rush is the one keeping it real the standard that the show's ratings reflect which also carries the banner of those of like minds.

Now I don't know Simon's politics but that is not what is on display here, Simon is a talent scout just like Rush is in a sense.  The politics of conservatism is a talent show of sorts.  What the GOP needs to figure out is how to display the results as acurately as the acts.  We could also learn that the truth though unpopular will become popular when it is shown as fact.

On a side not Simon did miss I think a serious opportunity to give an honest opinion to one of the contestants.  There was a blonde haired girl who is really pretty in the face and sings well but her full sleeve tattoo is so ugly it wrecks her whole image.  I don't know why it has become not "cool" to criticize someones deliberate appearance but to all you lovely ladies out there who let people scrible on your bodies.  I have just this to say tattoos are not atractive on a woman ever they make you look like a tramp and it screams trailer trash everytime I see it.

The State of the Porkulous Package

Now to all you clowns who ran Bush down over Iraq and the money spent there hear this.

Barack Huesein Mohamed Obama Jr. has managed to spend 36BILLLION dollars a DAY since taking the oath of office.

Our treasury is just simply print money which in time will become wothless, and when it does it is going to be pretty hard to convince Americans that after all the wide eyed hope, and the glossy chin of change that it's all George W. Bushs' fault and Obama just did the best he could.

We can't print our way out of this problem Democrats have made US industry work with one arm tied behind its' back for years and the result is that they have created an environment with obsticles US business can no longer overcome.

I predict many will be wishing Bush was still president in about 9 months when the nation births this new a wonderful change.

1,2 or 3% who cares it's just $$$ not Morality

Obama said yesterday he doesn't care about  1, 2 or the 3% of 1 TRILLION DOLLARS being wasted in his stimulous bill!!!

Notice how his entire party is in lock step with him, I think Senator Chuck Shoemuhr NY(D) was quoted as saying "what's $250 million".

They all just see this 3% they acknowledge as waste call it an insignificant percentage of a larger sum, right?  RIGHT? R-I-G-H-T-?-?-?

Okay so why do we have to worry about the 1 the 2 or the 3 % of people who get offended by a nativity scene infront of a courthouse?

... or the 1,2,or 3% who want GOD out of the pledge of allegence?
I don't care do you?

What about the 1, the 2 or the 3 % of the population that is gay and WANTS to get married?
The Democrat party seeksout the worst case "victims" in every case of selfimposed circumstances they excuse and obescure from view, the 1,2,or 3 % they exploit every single day.

Unless it's about money they do care care about every little 1%

Excercises in Real Cowardice Breakdown in America

Sure everyone has heard someone else being referred to as "a bad apple",  good because the origin of that thought is a fact.  If you leave a rotten apple in contact with other apples that do not have rot they soon will.

When we speak about race in this country, the majority stay within well established comfort zones of politically correct thought.  Others in the minority jump on a soap box, or political stage expressing or preaching their views in hopes something will resonate beyond the first rows outside their ranks.  The minority side of this equation is in constant debate mode they view themselves as being on a pilgrimage of sorts.  The majority side has no real interest in the topic and desperately wishes whatever differances were already resolved and it would simply go away as an issue.  The real problem begins when the majority side allows the minority to set special guidlines, parameters and to establish their own independent decency standards apart from the majorities.

What "political correctness" does is it authorizes and excuses a cowardice of thought under the protective umbrella of mass victimization.  Which allows those who invokes it an ability to stereotype a word or label an action as acceptable or not based on their political interpretation.  This so called correctness twists words like 'equality' or 'innocent' or interperates them up to 180 degrees away from their actual meanings.  Industries of political correctness seeks to punish those it profiles in this case the "racists" to advance the exploitation of their accepted standard differences.  Ironically it defines what racism is by the race or the intentions of the person or persons not their direct actions or the net result.

Allowing this hypocracy to exist is something the majority does everyday when it accepts the notion of the "innocent victims" living among us which is itself an act of cowardice.  However the real act of cowardice on race is not the majorities ability to deal with the realities of their indivdual lives.  The majority consists of people from all races, backrounds, rich, poor, and both genders who live their lives apart from the questions of racial equality.   That is the goal of the minority isn't it?

Or

Is it a Black thing, you wouldn't understand?

No my friends the real act of cowardice is in the true minority the one that exploits reality, embrasses the shattered goals and shortcomings otherwise stunting the achievements of all mankind.  This cowardice freezes growth and dumbs down achievement by replacing qualifying dynamics with a physical charactaristic type litmus test.

I have yet to seen a white, black, or hispanic person cooking in a Chinese restaurant.  I'm sure they exist somewhere but I haven't seen the protesters either.

One cannot champion equality by promoting quotas that discriminate in the name fairness.  Cowardice is when someone uses political correctness to alter the meaning of the word 'equal' into some form of indirect civil revenge.

War on Standards

For years prior to 9/11 we ALL "now" know that for whatever reason they have been at war with us. These terrorist, I not sure about the language but we had a commission report done on it albeit not by an outside panel but rather one from both sides of the isle. Since we fought back against this foe we have severely weakened its outward abilities to strike our allies and prevented another attack on American soil. That is all fact not my opinion, and since 9/11 have not lost an embassy to a terrorist bombing like we did in the previous administration . Even the Israel conflict has been about par with just the standard few clashes.  All in all I would say the world is less violent now than it was when Bush took office, but that is my opinion.

When will the GOP wake up? Barack Huesein Mohamed Obama Jr. your president and mine told the planet last night that he has declared war against the GOP Conservatives and their like minds. He told us we are not going to wake up in America and recognize it when he is finished with it.  He said we can't have a society of people who can afford to splurge and take the family out for dinner that can't overcome unexpected expenses that can deal with a crisis.  He has told us that our mentality should be affix blame without a trial, just like "global warming", declare a magnetic shift on reality, and bribe our way out of every problem.

Our president told the nation that the meaning of a tax cut has been changed to;

Tax cut:

"Money that comes from the government to a tax filer in addition to; or in excess of the taxes that person paid for the specific tax year in which the government has already returned to the filer a refund check or received a payment from"

Our president has told our nation that the rich people he knows don't make mistakes, unless it's on their taxes. Then he did pretty much tell us that his conversation with (VP) Biden was about the economic plan. That means (VP) Biden believes it has about a 1 in 3 chance of failure this we need it now package of pork, rendered to grease and injected into the viens of our economy.  President Obama talked allot at his rallies about it but I can't say I have ever heard him tell us what "hope", or "change" was.  Last night however he gave us a peek behind the curtain but hold us we had to wait until the next day to peek again.  In the context he has laid it out both could have infinite definitions and meanings can be twist tied around any outcome.

What we have here folks is a case of cowboy diplomacy from the inside out. How on earth do you sit down and negotiate with someone who is completely misrepresenting his position. We need a commission to form a database on political honesty that measures a persons political speak vs. their actions in office. The American people only put up with this political nonsense because they love America. They would support a fact based system that would eliminate the nonstop campaign commercials. We could go back to actually watch the news instead of having to ingest a half an hour of political brainwashing to see the weather report. The cycle won't break without cutting off the sources of misinformation that has crippled the day to day knowledge of most Americans.

Or will the GOP wait for a commission; one to be formed centuries from now and to discover what really happened to. What really happened to America?

Hypocrat-Lies_Breeds Liberal-Flies

No need to panic or is there? I guess that sort of depends where you are at on the ride. This is like the first drop on the roller coaster its dark and you’re not even wearing a seat belt. Eventually you know the ride will stop; at some undeterminable point, getting there in one piece just became a critical unknown.

When Democrats faced this reality in 2004, you know the Bush "mandate". Which really wasn't a mandate rather more of a snooze button response, as we watched our party crumble on principle? We had too many critical players from the yellow center line of the moderate ranks. Every thing the Liberals have done to the Democrat Party since 1992 has been whitewashed by the sacrificial scandals of a select few. This total manipulation is only made possible by the divisions in our own party.

The tact for mending these divisions is to first define what topics exist and acknowledge common interests on these issues. We must in the interest of our country come together as Republicans to the common points and debate amongst ourselves these areas of disagreement. Honest debate at the least creates respectful dissent, but also allows for a more complete disclosure of the facts. To do this we must encourage complete participation without exception. If we continue to allow selective political assassinations within our own ranks we will never achieve our full potential.

As we see and hear everyday Democrat after Democrat is given a pass by the media on issues they would see one us eliminated over. Our media reminds me of a Verizon network commercial, we just follow the "drive-bys" where they lead us. We examine there interests verses the facts and report the obvious and deliberate inaccuracies of their positions. We hypocritically call for open debate on issues we have no intention of compromising on. The all or nothing campaign of the "Reaganite" misses his greatest asset. His oratorical ability to build his case on a palatable united foundation created his popular public support even amongst democrats. He didn't cut them down or call them names; he let their own faults dictate their fate.

Instead of arguing with the under the influence of one Barack Huesien Mohamed Obama Jr. crowd let us instead resolve ourselves to repair our own crowd. We must replant the seeds of Conservatism but to do so we need an enriched environment for seed growth. Not all seeds will grow the same but we must learn to be able to separate each Conservative growth from the weeds of Liberalism. The weeds of Liberalism exist only to reproduce and destroy any other form of growth even their own when necessary.

We can talk about Blago, Clintons, Jackson & son, Kennedy, or Soros but that tit for tat isn't going to advance our cause. The main players are not the ones they have thrown to the overboard. They have jumped the shark so many times and yet we keep watching them do it. The whack-a-mole conclusion can be seen at any Chucky Cheese, they just keep popping out of there holes. But we keep smacking back as if we can accomplish great things like spending $5 on a plastic spider ring.  That sounds like government spending to me!!!

The GOP needs to attack the hive which is at the core of their indecency and common interest.

Be Your Own Man!!!

The only mechanism that will fix the ills in each of our lives is personal responsibility.  Conservatism by definition seeks to influence government at every level to conserve the freedoms and the responsibilities that come with it.   What our founders fought and died for is the same set of principles Martin Luther King fought and ultimately died for.   The knowledge they had because of their oppressed backrounds was that people can more effectively run a government.  That when government rules over a people those in power exempt themselves from the equal sharing of those responsibilities.  Their drive is to by what ever means they can deflect those task on the classes they rule over.  By way of controling education the ruling body projects their own short comings and wreckless behaviors onto those classes.

Media is actually a form of education which is a very effective means of passing information.  All education is not a default benefit to anyone.  Our society has set strict guidlines for what can be taught to children irrespective of studies suggesting most people don't mature past a third grade mentality.  The FCC used to strictly regulate the veiwing content of TV, and the oppinions exoressed over public airways.  In todays higly charged political apparatus the race is on to exploit the fringe, to push the envelope, or to plainly find a way around such regulatory pitfalls in promoting an agenda.

The public by in large understands the processes of propaganda most are predisposed to one side or the other.  That is why most successful politicians call for a bipartisan approach to governance when they campaign for the office they seek.  Often they liken themselves to the qualities of a leader from our nations past as a way of distancing themselves from opposition attacks.  Our new president is not immune from this tactic he has already sought the social reforms of FDR, tailored his speeches to the tone of JFK, and was sworn in on the Bible of Abraham Lincoln.

The GOP lost this election in the primary season for three main reasons.  First and chief among them was that after four years of a socially Liberal president we failed to recognize the trends that started in 04' when Bush defeated Kerry.  The country was willling to give the GOP one last opportunity to correct itself but public oppinion was slowly tilting away.  The second reason was that educators on our side of the equation known as talk radio set the bar height at the level of Ronald Reagan.  The problem has not nor will it ever be Reagan rather the focus placed on which candidate could most liken himself to Reagan.  The third reason relates to the second in that talk radio made their choice very clear in the weeks before our primary season.

The lies and distortions they engaged in caused a catastrophic rift in the base of the party.  Using the same tactics they blast the Liberal media over they assasinated the chartacter of Mike Huckabee by making the race about religious idealogy rather than about the issues.  Anyone who voted for Huckabee was also labeled as a bigot but almost more importantly as an Evangelical.  The reason Evangelical became such a factor is because that brand happens to be very outspoken on their views.  Those views however are not always popular with other brands of Christianity and by placing that label on the Huck voter the talkers were attempting to normalize LDS as a mainstream brand of the Christian faith.  The idea that Christians go into a voting booth by in large Bible in hand is absurd and that is the greater lesson that needs to be learned by our party.

Until our party can set itself apart from the mistakes of the past and learn the lessons of it's inherit failures we will never regain control of any branch of political power.  Nor should we as a false production of sudo-Conservatism will only serve to futher damage the brand.  Wake up be your own man, be all that you can be, for God and for country.  Just don't get the idea that you can replenish the well from which you drink by releaving yourself upstream.

A new approach to school choice

I have an interest in providing school choice for my child but all to often I think these things get held up because of the religious component that some place on these issues.  My opinion is that the Social Science function of the public shool system has itself become a religious matter entirely.  Math, Spelling, Reading, and Science can all be proven as fact.  Science promotes exploration of theory as a way to prove undiscovered truths.  But Social Sciences has become a theological witch hunt based on faith in assumptions brought about through scientific theory, and good intentions despite fact.  Faith is a function of religion which should not be involuntarily taught to our children in public funded schools.

School choice will never come about if the alternate plan for children is primarily a religious environment.  We will always loose the arguement if we continue to pull the religious card.  We need to approach this from an economical point and break down the figures.  All children have a right to the same educational provisions as collected and dispersed from our collective tax dollars.  Private education in the free market would provide parents the ability to better regulate the environment their children are educated in.

Public education has no right in the un-education of our children by teaching them beliefs contrary to the ones we teach them in our homes and churches.  These belief practices constitute a sudo- religion that degrades the morals we are trying to instill in our children.  These beliefs include all theory that has no proven benefit to a childs education.  They include lessons on diversity, global warming, sex, drugs/alcohol and other political speak.

The fact that private schools can run on half the budget of public education is also a huge factor.  But what is even greater is their ratios on GPA, drop-out levels, teen pregnancy rate and the percentage of their graduates who attend higher education.  The problem however is most of these schools have specific religious components to their ciriculum which are not shared by all no matter what their religious backround.

If we were to promote private schools as that met the same educational standards without the theological component as a financial solution to our failing public systems our needs could be better served as a whole.  Not to say there is anything wrong with a Catholic, Lutheran or other perocial school environment.  But these are not a match for everyones personal belief systems just as the public school's anti-religious views are also distasteful to us.

We need to inact a form of civil disobeidience in the name of protecting the future of our chilren.  The Boston Tea Party was such an act brought about for the same reasons.  We have no representation in the taxation we provide to our state to prop up the failures in schooling our children.  To those without children in the system; you have a right to see the young minds of your fellow citizens are not poisoned.  It is money we all spend every year to provide children a quality learning environment not a camp of political or religious indoctrination.

If we represnt the facts and leave our beliefs out of the equation we can succeed in this endeavor.  But we must attack this as a matter of facts and point out the unsubstantiated beliefs in those who appose us.  At the moment it seems we are at a stale mate because of the 'he said, she said' content of the discussion.
