Have we created a monster??? I think the answer is so obvious logically but then why is it emotionally another story???
The Rev. Algore and his minions on the left have so many on our side and in the middle convinced that at least some of the measures they are calling for are worth considering it has us arguing on the edge of a virtual black hole instead oblivous to it's gravitating pull. All the religous end fighting over doctrines and methods has given birth to a religion of 'earth'.
At this time of the year when we are bombarded with 'PC' calls for a muted Christmas celebrations for the sake of those who might be offended don't we have the right to speak, to assemble, to give thanks? No one ever makes those claims about Cinco De Mayo and if they do they are usually labeled a racist.
But then why would anyone be offended about a holiday that is at the core of what grounds the morals makeup of over 80% of the US population? The answer again is simple it's about control. There are those among us who identify themselves as Christians for the sake of political favor and social acceptance. Many resent the thought that anyone including God might have power over their will.
Many modern day religions teach and or accept theory outside any possible interpretation of Biblical precident. For many 'global warming' is seen as a worthy cauase and is assumed to be God's will that He would want us to take care of our environment. Despite the fact that His Word in James 4:4 says, ".....don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God?" The Word however goes much further in 2 John 9 in saying "Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue the teachings of Christ does not have God..." and goes on to say in verse 10-11 "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your home or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work."
In the Liberal movement the earth is seen as a shrine and worshiped by those who seek power over their fellow man while they project that trait onto Christanity as an intollerable offensive act. But because of the desire many Christians have much like the early Pharasis to have that greater relationship with God they go beyond the written Word.
In Mathew 6:2 the Word speaks about charity very specifically however most churches as well as many of their members either ignore or have never read what is written. It says, "So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men."
The bottom line here is that when we forget what the Bible says we fall prey to this combination of what is righteous and what is evil for a so called good. We give birth to any number of false precidents and we create a parallel between logic and fantasy that blurs the line of what would otherwise be the obvious outcome.
Global Warming is a religion not a function as it is portayed to exact a common good. But it is only possible because those who label themselves as Christian adopt the false teachings and ideals of those who seek to undermine church.
Which is exactly why we need to revisit the literal meaning of 'Separation of Church and State'.
