You want proof that this healthcare thing is the biggest scam far and beyond global warming or the constant double standard on scientific fact. Health care is the last thing any American with a brain is focused on or wants to be. Most of us are hoping to give our kids something more than a lump of coal for Christmas this year.
I love YouTube it comes in so handy for this demonstration of fact versus the liberalistic emotional campaign mode agenda. The video link here from a song performed by a band called "Rage Against The Machine". The lyrics to any Rage song are politically motivated but in this particular video made in the year 2000 they site poverty numbers. The numbers are what you should pay close attention to and the fact that we are now 9 year past that point and in a “crisis”. The song is titled "Sleep Now in the Fire" it is all about the "greed" of Wall street.

Let's review their facts from the year 2000 when census data says Americas population was 281 million.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Census,_2000
Rage Against The Machine says 45 million Americans don't have healthcare about 16% of the total population of the US according to census figures. Now that same US census which has a "census clock says the US population is closing in on 307 million.

Then Rage Against the Machine makes the claim that 80% of our countries wealth is held by 10% of the population. It's actually more like 85% of wealth by 10% numbers are significant here.

Then Rage Against the Machine clearly points out women make about 30% less than a man.

So Obama says we are in a crisis and now it’s healthcare so we need to spend a trillion we don't have to fix this problem. Even though by their own admission it would only insure 10 million Americans. While some estimates put the current number of uninsured at 48 million others say when you count all the uninsured eligible for Medicare it's closer to 36 million. Either way the percentage of uninsured by it's own liberal estimates has gone down below 16%.
The numbers on wealth are a constant as well any search I did has come up with identical results the only difference is the population gap.
Sleep now in the FIRE!!!
