Blog Roll

George W. (Mcfly) Bush

This thing is a "crisis" although what kind seems to be in the eyes of all who behold the vast differences between a negative market baited to believe it's only hope lies in a House vote and a bargin hunt for those who see above the smoking aftermath.  Maybe some just saw a meesage from God when they bought into the DOW the day after it dropped 777 points in one day.

Either way it goes from here one thing is factually certain, Americans have heard the "cry wolf" tale one too many times over the last year and they are ready to bare arms if that is what it takes to control their goverment.  You don't have to go too far down the page of most comment sections to find a few blog responders calling for a "tea party" or a citizen take back to realize Americans are fed up.  That explains why Obama's call for change resonates with soo many, it also demostrates why McCain is the GOP nominee.

This election cycle is already one of historic proportions everything is on the table.  We don't hear about education, jobs, immigration, war, taxes, global warming, healthcare, abortion or oil through the tunneling sound of the economic train whistle.  We have all become single issue pundents and voters beholdent to that one engine of controversy the economy.  It all comes back to dollars which no one really cares about the value of, rather how many of them they have access to.

Like father like son is the only obvious answer to why our trusted leader George W Bush is tounge tied on the cause.  Come on Mcfly hit Biff and let's go back to the future already.  This wimpy nonsense didn't work for your dad and it won't gain you a thing.  The least you could do is call on congress to abolish the CRA  and "mark to market" as measures that would gain GOP support.  That is what Reagan would have done if he would have let it go this far, which he wouldn't have.  Despite that what could you possibly lose at 26% approval, you might actually gain some in the polls.

Bench Boehner please he can't hit the plate and the bases are loaded for the pennant.  He caves in way to easy to be the leader we need on the front line, rather we need the courage of a guy like Mike Pense who stands up for the rights of his fellow Americans.  This isn't time to share a victory with the Democrats, it is time for the battle lines to be drawn.  Mitch McConnell is about the same and needs to be benched as leader also.  Both of these men are good conservatives whose terms as leaders have been served under harsh unfavorable conditions.  They have both done well in their general serivce they are just outclassed for this type of partisan environment.  In a few words they are honest and to open about their strategy policy.  Our leader needs to be a bit more unpredictable even if the opposition sees him coming.

Senator McCain is about one crappy speech from being a footnote.  His ridiculous reach accoss the isle made him see that the dog you feed may still bite you.  He telegraphed a political bi-move and it blew up in his face.  The very best thing he could do is tell every American he sees how his friends on the other side of the isle caused this (CRA).  I hope putting your country first means in front of your friends, thier poitical interests or future for that matter.  The other is allow Palin to upstage you in Conservatism, that is what made conservatives forget about your ignorant positions that made you soo unpopular among the steadfast GOP.

Sarah Palin is the working American's dream candidate.  Finally someone who has actually worked a real job, raising a typical family and with a moral compass, pinch me.  What she brings to this ticket is faith in humanity, just in her knowing how goverment effects our daily lives.  She needs to be the person who entered this race not relagated to McCain's side kick.  In fact I bet a poll would show she has higher GOP support than McCain himself.  She doesn't sound smart talking like McCain because sometimes when he talks he sounds stupid.  Stupid is a choice between right and wrong, ignorant would mean he didn't know better which I don't really believe.  When Sarah parrots McCain it sounds worse out of her mouth because we see her swallowing her pride when she does it and that ain't pretty.  She tries to make it sound okay as if to say, it'll workout, or just wait four more years and I will make it better.  That won't get this ticket to graceland and it won't secure the popular vote.

For all the hooplah over the electoral college the court of popular opinion true votesare not registered on a punch card or a screen.  The real votes happens in converations and other forms of communication all over this country everyday.  When you change someones mind you get to vote twice.
