You can not say in today's market that you believe in a "free Market" economy, when at the same time you can not see the damage done to middle class wages and lifestyle by illegal immagration. They speak of the top 10-20% of wage earners and the percentages of the taxes they pay. These wage earners are also invested in the businesses that benefit from artificially cheap (slave) labor practices. These practices are also responsible for the continuing efforts of democrat leaders to rasie the minimum wage. Also proof that looking at unemployment numbers as a gauge of job growth is a dated source that neglects the millions of workers who have been forced into business to market their trade just to make the ends meet.
There are those in this party who beleive we need to open up our markets to free trade all over the world. I happen to be one of those who sees the benefits America has set in the world free market economy. However, I also believe in leading by way of example. Free trade is not a one way street. We trade our items in their market and theirs are traded here free of tariffs, surcharges, and additional taxation.
The fact that the same proponents to these trade agreements also want to inject a guest worker program into a middle class work environment beleaugered by the ill effects of illegal immagration. When will we expect our leaders to hold corporate enterprise to follow the laws that are on the books in this country. Simply going after the illegal workers is not enough, we need to arrest and imprision corporate CEO's, seize shareholders dividends, and if necessesary remove the comapnies from the public market place. The time for action is at hand if we want to get a majority of the American people on board this free market ideal we need to start by allowing a true free market exist in the middle class of our own nation.
